These Terms of Service define the rules applicable to the use of Qreck, its mobile application, and its website available at https://www.qreck.com.
By using Qreck, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.
Qreck is an application that allows users to create, customize, and display QR Codes containing different types of information or links.
Depending on the available features, users may create QR Codes containing, in particular:
Qreck may be used through the mobile application or directly through a compatible web browser.
Normal use of Qreck does not require the creation of a user account.
Users can create and use their QR Codes without providing a name, email address, telephone number, or password.
QR Codes created by the user are primarily stored locally on their device.
Qreck is designed to operate even when no Internet connection is available.
Once the application or website has been loaded, certain features may continue to operate locally without a network connection.
Some features requiring communication with Qreck servers can only operate when an Internet connection is available.
QR Codes created by the user are stored locally on their device as part of the normal operation of the application.
The user is responsible for preserving their data.
Uninstalling the application, deleting application data, resetting the device, a device failure, loss of the device, or changing devices may result in the permanent loss of QR Codes and information stored locally.
Qreck does not guarantee that such data can be recovered.
In the current version of the service, no remote backup or QR Code restoration feature is provided.
The user is solely responsible for the content they create, store, display, or share using Qreck.
The user must ensure that they have the necessary rights to use and share any information, text, images, links, or other content added to their QR Codes.
The user is also responsible for any consequences resulting from the distribution of their QR Codes.
The user agrees to use Qreck in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
In particular, the service must not be used to:
Qreck reserves the right to take appropriate technical measures when abusive or clearly unlawful use of the service is detected.
QR Codes created using Qreck may contain links to websites, social networks, or other services operated by third parties.
Qreck does not necessarily operate or control these third-party services, their content, availability, security, or terms of use.
The use of a third-party service is subject to the terms and policies applicable to that service.
Qreck cannot be held responsible for the content or operation of third-party services accessed through QR Codes created by users.
Qreck is provided on an as-available basis and may evolve over time.
The service may be temporarily interrupted for reasons including maintenance, updates, security measures, technical failures, or issues affecting the network or hosting infrastructure.
Qreck does not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption or errors.
The features of Qreck may be added, modified, suspended, or removed at any time.
Some features may also be available only on certain versions of the application or on certain platforms.
Such changes may be necessary for technical, security, compatibility, or regulatory reasons.
The elements comprising Qreck, including its software, code, interface, graphical elements, design, text, and technical components, are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, these elements remain the property of their author or respective rights holders.
Use of Qreck does not grant the user any ownership rights over the software or its components.
The user retains any rights they hold in content they create and add to their QR Codes.
Qreck does not claim ownership of personal content added by the user.
The user grants only the technical permissions necessary for the operation of the service when certain data are temporarily transmitted to Qreck servers.
In the current version, QR Code content is primarily stored locally on the user's device and is not automatically sent to the server.
A QR Code is simply a means of presenting or transmitting information or a link.
Qreck does not systematically review the content of QR Codes created by users.
The creation of a QR Code does not mean that Qreck endorses, recommends, or guarantees the content to which it may provide access.
Users should therefore verify the content and destinations of QR Codes before distributing them.
The user is responsible for the security of the device on which they use Qreck.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their device and taking appropriate measures to prevent third parties from accessing the QR Codes or information stored on it.
Qreck implements technical measures designed to protect its own services and communications, but no method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Qreck cannot be held liable for damages resulting in particular from:

Qreck is not specifically intended for children.
However, the application may technically be used by people of different ages.
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the use of the application by minors under their responsibility and should ensure that such use is appropriate.
